The Opportunity
We are looking for volunteer Conversation Tutors to facilitate a weekly, one-hour conversation session with our students. This is where YOU come in! You can help provide that virtual space where courageous students can dare to speak a new language, make mistakes, and get the help they need to improve.[/text_output]

How It Happens
First, you complete the Volunteer Application. We will schedule a phone conversation.
Second, we assign you to a time slot that is convenient for you. Third, we assign students to your conversation session. You will create a Gmail or Google+ account so you can access Google Hangouts. We create a Google Hangout for your group, and send you the link. The link will go out to you in three different ways:
- Calendar, once when we set it up for your group
- Email, 24 hours before your weekly session
- Text, 30 minutes before your weekly session
Every week, we will email you a Conversation Guide. This guide will give you plenty of ideas and conversation starters.

Requirements:
- You must have access to high speed internet at home via a computer. You will be using Google Hangouts and your connectivity is of utmost importance.
- You must have (or create) a Gmail or Google+ account. Google Hangouts is a free service. All you need is a free Gmail or Google+ account in order to use it. Hangouts is a video chatting platform that allows you to connect with various people at the same time in one conversation.
- One hour per week for 3-6 months at a time.
