Nearly 90 billion worth of holiday gifts are returned by Americans every year. Experts recommend waiting until the first week or second week in January to return your items. 40% of returns occur in the 26th and 27th of December.
Most retailers have a 90 day return policy. To avoid long lines, check if those retailers provide the opportunity to return your item online.
Make sure to have your receipt when you are returning an item.
