If you have plans to take your family abroad, which vaccines do you need and how long does it take for them to take effect?

-Just like your family needs a passport, they need these vaccinations for their protection. How long does it take to get the full effect?
-I typically tell people to come in at least a month before you plan on leaving. Some of the vaccines that you need to get before going the maximum efficacy is a month, but for some of them you only need about a week for them to be really active. We usually tell people to come in a month. For one, there’s shortages sometimes, so make sure that you’re able to get the vaccines to give your body enough time to respond to it and get full protection.
